Missions
Recent developments in the IL-2 modding community (including an excellent English Channel map by CannonUK) have inspired us to develop a number of Battle of France and Battle of Britain co-op missions for use on our regular team nights.
To install the missions, download the files to a convenient location, unzip them and place the 234Sqn folder in your game/Missions/Net/coop/ folder.
These missions require the following mods (see our Modifications page for downloads and installation instructions).
Dunkirk: 31st May, 1940
This mission is based around events in the final days of the evacuation of the British Expeditionary Force from the beaches around Dunkirk at the end of May, 1940. Positions of frontlines and disposition of ships in the harbour were implemented on the bais of information and maps in 'The War in France and Flanders', by Major L. F. Ellis.
Radar Defence: Summer, 1940
Summer, 1940 and the Luftwaffe are attempting to put Britain's radar defence systems out of action. Stuka dive bombers with Bf109 escort are approaching Ventnor Radar from the south. Scramble from Middle Wallop to meet the attackers head-on before they destroy the installation.

Rhubarb!
This low level 'Rhubarb' mission to strafe airfields and targets of opportunity near Calais is based upon a mission flown by Stanford-Tuck as described in Larry Forrester's 'Fly for Your Life: The Story of R.R. Stanford Tuck, DSO, DFC'.
Ramrod to Cherbourg
1941, and the RAF begin to take the fight to the enemy in occupied France. We're off to Cherbourg this time to bomb industrial targets and marshalling yards near the port. Expect flak around the target and considerable enemy resistance.
